Privacy Policy

This policy explains how QOVPN handles data when providing subscription services, international routes, and account features. Please read the following before using the service. QOVPN processes only the data needed for account management, order delivery, service operation, security maintenance, and support requests, and limits its use to those stated purposes.
Data Collected and Why We Use It
No email address is required during registration; a username and password are sufficient. QOVPN therefore does not treat an email address as a required registration field or request one solely to create an account. The system processes usernames, authentication credentials, plan status, total traffic usage, and necessary account settings for login verification, subscription delivery, traffic accounting, and account management.
After payment is completed, QOVPN retains transaction-related order records such as the order identifier, amount, payment method, payment status, creation time, and associated plan. This information is used to confirm payment, activate service, process refunds, reconcile orders, and resolve transaction disputes. Explanations, attachments, or contact information voluntarily submitted through a support ticket are used only to handle that request.
Website analytics may include the pages visited, referring pages, browser type, device category, language settings, and general network information. This data is used to verify that pages work properly, detect unusual access, and improve content structure; it is not used to build an individual browsing preference profile.
No-Logs Approach and Connection Data
QOVPN does not record which websites users visit, retain browsing or transmission content, or store DNS query content, nor does it build activity records based on access targets. During service operation, the system may process total account traffic, plan validity, and temporary technical information needed for route scheduling, but this information is not used to identify specific content accessed.
Connection diagnostic data is used only as needed to maintain service stability, handle security incidents, or investigate a user support ticket, and is not retained as a long-term browsing log. Once the relevant purpose is complete, diagnostic information is deleted, aggregated, or de-identified. If a user submits troubleshooting materials containing connection information they provided, those materials are handled with the related ticket under the retention rules for support records.
Cookie and Local Storage
The website and account panel use necessary Cookies or browser local storage to maintain login status, save language preferences, identify the current session, and remember essential interface settings. The account panel may also store an authentication token locally so users can continue accessing account features during a valid session.
Closing or clearing this stored data may sign users out, restore the default language preference, or require some account features to be configured again. QOVPN does not use this storage to record the specific websites users visit or add cross-border access content to marketing profiles.
Third-Party Payments and Data Sharing
QOVPN supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Payment processing may be handled by the relevant payment provider, whose required payment credentials and transaction verification information are governed by its own rules. QOVPN generally receives the payment result, transaction status, and order-related information needed to complete an order, and does not directly control data collected on third-party payment pages.
Except where necessary to complete payment, provide services, resolve disputes, maintain security, or comply with applicable requirements, QOVPN does not sell account data to external parties. When a service provider must assist with hosting, analytics, or technical support, QOVPN shares only the data needed for that task and limits its use accordingly.
Data Retention, Deletion, and Policy Updates
Account data is generally retained while the account remains in use. Order records are kept as needed for transaction reconciliation, refund processing, dispute resolution, and applicable obligations; analytics data is preferably kept in aggregated or de-identified form. When data is no longer needed for its original purpose and there is no need to retain it, it will be deleted or de-identified.
Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of account-related data through the support ticket entry in the account panel. Deleting account data may make existing subscriptions, order history, and support records unavailable. For limited records that must be retained for transaction reconciliation, dispute handling, or applicable obligations, QOVPN restricts their use to the relevant purpose and processes them once the retention basis no longer applies.
This policy may be updated as service features, data practices, or applicable requirements change. Updated text will be published on this page, and the last-updated month shown at the top will be adjusted accordingly. When there are significant changes to data practices, an explanation will be provided through available in-service channels. Before continuing to use the service, users can review the latest version to understand the current rules.
